Position Summary:
The Medical Biller will be responsible for accurately billing insurance providers, managing claims, and ensuring timely reimbursement for home healthcare services. This role requires strong knowledge of medical billing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an in-office setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit and manage medical claims for home healthcare services
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Review documentation for billing accuracy and compliance
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing issues
- Post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and internal staff as needed
- Maintain organized and accurate billing records
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Biller (home healthcare experience preferred)
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing
- Familiarity with medical billing software and EHR systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)

- Monday–Friday schedule
