A Child Development Trainer serves as a mentor for youth who are considered at risk and may have some special needs.
This is a great job that offers employees a rewarding and gratifying opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and teens, ranging from ages 6 to 21.
Shifts are 8 hours in length and will include weekends, evenings, and holidays (if applicable) for a full time schedule.
You can rely on us to give you a consistent schedule every week with the opportunity to work overtime if you choose to do so. Overtime is not limited and you get to choose open shifts right from your smart phone with our scheduling app!

Tasks include:
- Teaching Daily Living Skills (proper hygiene, nutrition, fitness, etc.)
- Teaching Social Skills (general manners, appropriate interactions in public places, personal boundaries)
- Maintain household work, teaching children through example, how to care for their homes as well as learning how to cook home cooked health beneficial meals.
Qualifications (These are non negotiable State requirements):
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have at least one-year experience care-giving with children, (babysitting qualifies) however, must be verifiable and your own children do not count. However, volunteer programs, being a camp counselor, youth program helper, etc. DO count.
Must be able pass a background check
- must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine. This will be verified upon your employment.
Again, please note: Working Evenings, Holidays, and weekends are required. We never "close."
*Day shifts M-F are not available at time of hire, but may become so after time under employment. We work with employees to allow for flexible scheduling needs.*
Entry level pay starts at $23 to $25 an hour depending on experience and Education level.
