Position Summary
The Busser supports the guest experience by keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and ready.
Bussers anticipate what guests and teammates need, maintain table readiness, and help the service teamdeliver exceptional hospitality with speed and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Keep tables clean, comfortable, and guest-ready.
- Clear finished items promptly without interrupting the guest experience.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond with genuine hospitality.
- Assist with water, table maintenance, and guest requests as needed.
- Reset tables quickly, completely, and to standard.
Execution
- Maintain clean and organized dining, service, and common areas.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables with urgency.
- Maintain all table settings and service supplies.
- Keep bus stations stocked and organized throughout the shift.
- Communicate spills, maintenance issues, or guest needs immediately.
- Move with purpose and always look for what needs to happen next.
Teamwork
- Practice secondary service — every guest belongs to all of us.
- Support Servers, Food Runners, Bartenders, and fellow Bussers.
- Pre-bus and clear wherever needed.
- Step in and help without waiting to be asked.
- Never walk the restaurant empty-handed.
- Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities with pride.

- Clean, comfortable tables throughout the guest experience.
- Fast and complete table resets.
- Clean and organized dining and service areas.

Qualifications
- Restaurant experience preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Dependable and able to move with urgency.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, and safely carry dishes and bus tubs.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
