Location(s): Round Rock, TX

Job Type: Contract

Dates: August/September 2026 – January 2027

Compensation: $20,000 Base up to $30,000 Performance Bonus (Weekly and End of Season Payouts) – Serious Christmas Cash!


The Light Park is one of the most dynamic, high-volume drive-thru holiday experiences in the country. This role is not passive hospitality; it is active and dynamic execution in a condensed seasonal window, requiring operational precision and high impact leadership on a daily basis.


This year, we embark on the journey of "Aura" and help DJ Polar Ice as he throws the biggest holiday party around to power up The North Pole!

Position Overview: The Light Park is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead one of our immersive drive-thru holiday experiences with a focus on operational excellence, culture leadership, and transformative team development. The ideal candidate will be a high-impact leader committed to building a winning work culture and delivering a top-class holiday guest experience at scale.


This role balances hands-on operational leadership with strong business and strategic instincts to drive attendance, improve performance, elevate team execution, and increase profitability. The General Manager serves as the primary business leader for their assigned location, accountable for P&L performance, staffing strategy, show quality, guest satisfaction, and overall operational success.


Key Responsibilities:

Own the Operation

  • Full P&L ownership with accountability for sales, expense spending, labor, vendor costs, and profitability.
  • Drive nightly operational execution including traffic flow, show quality, brand consistency, and safety.
  • Execute high quality food, beverage, and merchandise presentation standards.
  • Maintain strict standards for lighting, audio, power systems, and guest flow.
  • Make fast, high-quality decisions during peak periods and weather challenges.


Build and Lead the Team

  • Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing, energetic seasonal workforce.
  • Develop supervisors and leads capable of managing high-pressure operation.
  • Instill a culture of accountability, urgency, and guest-first execution.
  • Hold clear performance expectations and coach for results.
  • Maintain morale and energy throughout the condensed seasonal run.


Drive Attendance & Revenue

  • Increase per-car onsite spending through upsells, food and beverage, merchandise, and add-ons.
  • Support seasonal pricing and promotions strategies to maximize yield.
  • Execute localized marketing initiatives in support and partnership with corporate marketing.
  • Build and maintain community partnerships to create positive brand impact locally.
  • Monitor and report KPIs daily to corporate: attendance, revenue per car, labor %, guest satisfaction, and throughput rates.


Deliver a Top-Rated Holiday Experience at Scale

  • Ensure consistent, smooth entry-to-exit experiences regardless of volume.
  • Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain high energy, professionalism, and brand standards across every shift.
  • Continuously refine operations based on data and guest feedback.


Strategic & Seasonal Planning

  • Lead pre-season build, staffing and training ramp-up, and launch readiness.
  • Lead post-season strike, inventory storage, and site clearance.
  • Develop scalable systems that support multi-location growth.
  • Prepare the operation for year-to-year expansion with meaningful post-season analysis for corporate


Qualifications

  • A degree in Business, Hospitality, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years management experience in high-volume hospitality, entertainment, live events, or seasonal operations preferred.
  • Prior experience as an operator with P&L responsibilities.
  • Ability to monitor and analyze metrics and communicate findings effectively.
  • Proven experience leading large seasonal teams.
  • Strong operational discipline with the ability to perform under peak pressure.
  • Exceptional leadership presence and decision-making capability.
  • A personal commitment to delivering premium guest experiences at scale.
