Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data and Research Associate to support our data management and research initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director of Data Management and Research, you will play a key role in managing data platforms, collaborating on research projects, and contributing to our mission of advancing rare cancer research.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain data platforms and databases for patient tracking.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on data-driven projects.
- Analyze medical histories, treatments, and side effects, ensuring data accuracy.
- Identify patterns and inconsistencies in data to generate actionable insights.
- Support clinical trial and research efforts through data organization and analysis.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree in Biology, Biomedical Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Experience: Entry-level, with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in statistical software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and biology.
- Knowledge of clinical trial processes and rare cancer research is a plus.
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
