We are seeking a Spanish-speaking Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team and support our attorneys in delivering outstanding results for our clients.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to manage a high-volume caseload. Strong Spanish communication skills (written and verbal) are required, as many of our clients are Spanish-speaking.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury files from intake through settlement
- Maintain consistent client communication, including providing case updates and answering questions in Spanish and English
- Gather, review, and organize medical records, bills, and other supporting documents
- Coordinate treatment for clients and communicate with medical providers
- Draft and send letters of representation, demands, and other legal correspondence
- Prepare settlement demands and assist with negotiation preparation
- Calendar deadlines and ensure all case tasks are completed timely
- Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes in the case management system
Qualifications
- Fluent in Spanish (required)
- Minimum 1–2 years of personal injury experience (pre-litigation preferred)
- Strong understanding of PI case workflow, including medical treatment, liability, and damages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable handling a high-volume caseload
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency with case management software SmartAdvocate or similar
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week
