Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Full-Time Resident Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day and evening shifts! In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to residents in a supportive environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being. Your energetic and caring approach will help create a warm community where residents feel valued and safe. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities while working in a dynamic, team-oriented setting. We work on a block schedule and must be able to work every other weekend. We are a Low Level of Care and facility searching for long term employees to join our family.
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Engage residents in social activities and group programs to foster community involvement and mental stimulation
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident areas and common spaces
- Respond promptly to emergency situations through ARIEL call lights when necessary, ensuring resident safety at all times
- Support residents’ emotional well-being through compassionate communication and personalized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop tailored care strategies that meet each resident’s unique needs
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments with a focus on geriatrics or senior care
- Strong knowledge of ADLs assistance
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications; ongoing education for state compliance
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of infection control practices, cleaning procedures, and safety protocols in healthcare settings

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
