Established in 1876, the Lewis Bear Company has been a locally-owned and operated distribution company for five generations. It is the oldest privately held corporation in Florida and Anheuser-Busch’s oldest continuous distributor. Our territory is Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, Franklin and Gulf Counties in Florida.
***The sales route is located in the Destin and Crestview area***
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ON-PREMISE SALES REP:
· Sells, builds, and merchandises on-premise accounts.
· Rotates products to ensure freshness and manages outdated product.
· Maintains strong relationships with all retail customers.
· Sells new packages to drive incremental sales and distribution.
· Drives products and promotions while collaborating with the sales team on activations and samplings.
· Monitors competitor activity and reports significant findings to management.
· Reports broken signage and requests custom point-of-sale (POS) materials
· Maintains accurate account inventory logs.
· Merchandises accounts using POS materials
· Attends and actively participates in sales meetings
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE:
· High school diploma or GED preferred; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Class A-CDL driver’s license preferred
· Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees in group settings
· Ability to safely operate company vehicle.
· Ability to use an iPad with Encompass/M360 software.
· Must be able to work 50 hours per week, including occasional weekends
· Must be able to lift up to 180 pounds
· Compensation for this position is on a commission basis.
