Job/Position Specific Requirements:
- Oversee box office operations, including ticket sales at the door and resolving ticketing issues.
- Manage front-of-house operations, including ushers, lobby displays, seating signage, Will Call ticket preparation, show programs, venue entrances, restroom access, and overall patron flow.
- Coordinate with the Production Team to ensure seamless pre-show operations and performance readiness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to patron inquiries via email, phone, and in person.
- Manage customer communications leading up to performances, including ticket-related questions and event information.
- Process and oversee complimentary ticket requests and ADA seating accommodations.
- Operate and manage point-of-sale systems for cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain accurate daily box office sales reports and complete end-of-day box office closing procedures.
- Collaborate with directors and production staff to coordinate audience flow, seating, performance timing, and other operational needs.
- Ensure a welcoming, organized, and efficient experience for all guests throughout each event.

JOB PURPOSE
This position is a part-time hourly position averaging approximately 20-25 hours per week, with primarily an evening and weekend schedule. Applicants should have flexibility with scheduling various shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability.
- Previous experience in box office, theater, venue, or front-of-house management preferred.
- Experience with Showpass or similar ticketing platforms preferred.
- Proficiency with the Square payment platform or comparable point-of-sale systems.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by performance schedules.
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to operate office/classroom equipment
- Ability to use computer technology and other technology as appropriate for the specified position
- Must appropriately handle confidential information; ability to use computers and other AV equipment for group meetings, presentations, projectors, and video equipment, as needed
- Physical ability to: Sit 40%; Walk/Stand: 60%
- Manual dexterity for repetitive movement of fingers and hands for keyboarding
- Ability to lift objects of moderate weight from 15 to 30 pounds
- Artistic high school environment
