Job Description

We are looking to hire a Senior Manager, Mid Central District based in a metropolitan area of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for a remote position, which requires up to 80% travel. You’ll be traveling to our retail stores, working closely with Store Managers, and encouraging a culture of excellence and accountability. Core Responsibilities

50% drive district sales and overall store health with frequent visits to stores

  • Extensive travel from store-to-store (up to 80%) within district.
  • Meet growth targets for sales metrics such as UPT (units per transaction), ADS (average dollar sale) and customer conversion.
  • Work with the Store teams to consistently produce excellent customer experiences through customer service and interaction, cleanliness, merchandising and atmosphere.
  • Partner with Store Managers through weekly conference calls, personalized follow-up calls, written exchanges, and visits to the stores.
  • Communicate consistently with store personnel to ensure understanding of and compliance with store policy and procedures.
  • Act as the liaison between head office and the stores.
  • Respond to store level issues and customer complaints.
  • Carry out fundamental duties across various store positions as necessary.
  • Support and enforce company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Maintain communication with employees at all levels of the company.
  • Supervise Store Managers through planning, assigning, and directing their overall responsibilities.
  • Communicate, execute, and follow-up on all operational directives, marketing, visual and merchandising initiatives.

20% managing store expenses and meeting return on sales targets

  • Control store level expenses through effective management of payroll and store shrink.
  • Monitor ROS performance and implement changes to improve profitability.

30% team development

  • Mentor staff on positive performance or challenges and administer formal reviews, corrective action plans and terminations as needed. Partner with HR manager for personnel issues.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and train store personnel on store operations and procedures.

  • Gain overall understanding of morale and performance of all store teams and make recommendations accordingl
  • Leadership experience in retail environment, running multiple locations.
  • Leadership ability and consistent track record of developing staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Project management experience.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills. Computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft office Windows, outlook, excel, word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of and experience with retail POS systems and operations.
  • Experience with training
  • Availability for frequent travel (up to 80%)
  • The preferred candidate will be centrally located in Oklahoma City to enable air travel to stores in the market.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $114,096.00 - $171,144.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
