What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant/Paralegal - Commercial R.E. position at The Legal Registry?
Downtown Tampa law firm is seeking an experience Legal Assistant/Paralegal for their commercial R.E. team. Ideal candidates will be able to draft commercial loan documents and focus on title commitments, survey, etc.
Some of the duties include:
- Order title commitments, related lien searches and surveys
- Review title commitments, prepare title memorandums and identify potential title issues
- Capable of ATIDS searches
- Prepare commercial closing docs and settlement statements
- E-recording
- Assist in preparation of Commercial Purchase and sale Agreement
- Prepare title policies
- Review surveys and identify issues
- Order estoppels from Associations and other entities dictated by title
- Post closing disbursements
The position is full time and has potential of permanent employment. Paid parking provided during the assignment.
