About the Role
The Legacy Center Sports Complex is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Tennis Instructor to lead lessons and training for youth and/or adults. This role focuses on teaching skills, fostering sportsmanship, and making tennis fun and accessible for all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead group and private tennis lessons.
- Teach proper technique, rules, and strategy.
- Create age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Provide feedback and monitor progress.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and positive environment.
- Communicate with participants, parents, and staff.
Qualifications
- Tennis playing and/or coaching experience.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Passion for helping players improve.
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain).
- Background check required.
Preferred
- Tennis certification (USTA, USPTA, PTR).
- Experience in recreational or competitive tennis instruction.
- Familiarity with positive coaching and youth development.
- Availability for after-school, weekend, or summer sessions.
