NOW HIRING: Machine Operators in Williamsburg, VA!
Machine Operator
Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Pay: $17-18/hr
Benefits: Weekly pay, Medical, Dental, Vision
Job Responsibilities of Machine Operators:
- Operate a sort machine in a fast-paced production-based environment
- Establish and maintain a good relationship with customer and internal associates
- Complete safety checklists/production logs/ quality logs on time and with accuracy
- Work in accordance with a quality system that is compliant with company standard
- Establish an effective line of communication with peers and management
- Employ a clean as you go method on production floor and good housekeeping practices
- Sort a minimum of 10,000 tier sheets per 8-hour shift
Education and Experience of Machine Operators:
- At least 2 years previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment
- At least 2 years previous production-based work
- Ability to provide an effective line of communication
- Positive attitude
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to meet warehouse deadlines
- High School or GED equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements of Machine Operators:
- Ability to lift heavy packages or units up to 50 lbs. continuously, and stand for up to 10 hours at a time
- Ability to effectively perform a job requiring consistent, repetitive motion, bending, twisting, and lifting.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- OSHA and safety informed; safety first attitude
