Job Overview:
A Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist at The Lee Company will perform a variety of quality related duties to assure compliance to the Quality Management System and related policies.
Responsibilities:
- Review planning requisitions daily in accordance with policy to allow Purchasing to generate purchase orders.
- Reject requisitions that are non-compliant and notify the planners of the rejection.
- Review and apply the proper purchase order codes (macros) to the requisitions.
- Maintain and update the macro codes in accordance with relevant specifications
- Manage, maintain, and initiate vendor deviation requests.
- Review inbound certifications to verify that they comply with purchase order requirements.
- Scan documents into the records database.
- Generate FAIRs (first article inspection reports) and material certification packages as needed.
- Initiate and manage the random testing of products and services.
- Perform internal audits and generate required reports.
- Coordinate with relevant parties including but not limited to planners, quality engineers, engineers, purchasing
- agents, and manufacturing personnel.
- Work with suppliers to resolve non-conformances in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required. Post high school degree preferred. Over 1 year and up to and including 3 years related experience.
- Occasional lifting - under 10 lbs. (files) constant eye/hand coordination. Daily sitting, reaching, walking. Frequent concentrated mental visual acuity required.
- Analytical ability.

- Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
- Proficient in use of computer, and related databases.
