Job Overview
The Lee Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research and Development Engineer to lead our innovation initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new and innovative products for current and future markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently apply engineering principles in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, gas dynamics, mechanics, and thermodynamics to design, develop, qualify, and produce micro-fluidic and hydraulic components.
- Initiate the design, development, execution, and implementation of technology research projects.
- Apply research theories, principles, and models when conducting experiments and research activities.
- Summarize research results and communicate findings to internal and external bodies.
Requirements
- A B.S. and/or M.S. in Engineering or related field from a recognized, fully accredited program, ideally paired with experience in hydraulics and fluid control.
- 10 years of experience related to NPD or R&D.
- Proven experience applying advanced analytical and problem-solving methodologies including mathematical modeling, simulations, and control theories.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
