Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and classroom management, with experience in curriculum development and working with young children. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies to create a safe and supportive environment.
- Provide individualized support for children requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Incorporate classroom activities that foster literacy education, STEM learning, and social skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress through assessments and standardized testing results.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support each child's developmental needs.
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and promote child welfare through attentive supervision and safety protocols.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education, including tutoring techniques and classroom management strategies.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Experience with special education, early intervention programs, or Montessori teaching methods is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and literacy education is required.
- Background in teaching physical education or math at the preschool level is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effectively engaging with children, parents, and colleagues.
