Position Overview
We are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The Infant Teacher will create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment where our youngest learners can thrive. This role involves supporting each child’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth while fostering strong partnerships with families.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, responsive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, comforting, and supporting sleep routines.
- Create a warm, nurturing environment that promotes trust and security.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support sensory exploration, motor development, and early communication skills.
- Observe and document developmental milestones and share progress with families.
- Maintain consistent daily routines while adapting to each infant’s individual needs.
- Communicate daily with families about their child’s experiences, needs, and growth.
- Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met at all times, including sanitizing toys and equipment.
- Collaborate with coworkers and support a positive, team-oriented classroom environment.
- Uphold all state licensing regulations and center policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or CDA in Early Childhood Education preferred).
- Previous experience working with infants in a childcare or similar setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices for infant care.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with families.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for caring for young children.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
