Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities.
- Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
- Provide care and supervision for children and ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote social-emotional development, cognitive skills, and physical activity.
- Support classroom setup, organization, and cleanup to maintain a clean and inviting learning space.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and behavioral concerns.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school, or similar settings is preferred abut not necessary.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with children and families.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support various age groups as needed.
