Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Execute monthly close activities including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger updates
- Prepare and review balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accounts in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting packages
- Partner with leadership and operational teams to analyze financial results and provide actionable insights
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requests
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls
- Partner with Treasury and Payroll or HR teams to support cash management and payroll-related accounting
- Assist with improving processes that support accurate and timely financial reporting
- Support financial oversight of operations and reporting activities
- Coordinate with teams on monthly reporting and financial analysis
- Assist with consolidation of financial results into U.S. reporting
- Review financial data to ensure alignment with corporate standards
- Support performance analysis of the franchise network
- Participate in finance initiatives and process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of accounting experience in public accounting or corporate accounting
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or similar
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- CPA license or progress toward certification preferred
- Experience in multi-entity environments preferred
- Familiarity with reconciliation tools such as BlackLine is a plus
