As a Lead Teacher, Your Key Responsibilities would be:

• Create fun and engaging learning experiences through age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a way that supports the unique needs of each child.
• Use TLE’s engaging characters and curriculum tools to make learning enjoyable.
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and happy classroom environment.
• Ensure quality compliance, health, and safety standards throughout the classroom and daycare programs.
• Monitor children’s growth and development while celebrating key milestones and progress.
• Build positive relationships with families and communicate daily updates through our mobile app and personal conversations.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and joyful learning environment.
• Support your center’s success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, family engagement, and classroom quality.
• Create a dynamic classroom where learning and play happen seamlessly.

Do You:

• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children?
• Enjoy leading a classroom and helping children grow?
• Have experience working with children in a preschool, daycare, or school setting?
• Have a high school diploma or GED?
• Have ECE coursework or an early childhood education degree? Preferred, but not required.
• Meet applicable state licensing requirements for the role?

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• ECE coursework preferred
• 2 years of experience as a lead teacher in a childcare center preferred
• At least 6 months of professional teaching experience preferred
• Prior experience working with children in a preschool, daycare, or school setting
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Must meet state-specific childcare licensing guidelines for the role
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
