The Learning Experience in Elk Grove is hiring a joyful and flexible Childcare Float Teacher to support classrooms across all age groups from infants to preschool. If you enjoy variety, love stepping into different rooms throughout the day, and want to make a meaningful impact wherever help is needed, this is the perfect fit.
What You Will Do
Support multiple classrooms including infants, toddlers, twaddlers, preppers, and preschool
Create warm, safe, and engaging environments that meet developmental needs for each age group
Assist with daily routines including diapering, feeding, toileting, meals, transitions, and learning activities
Engage children through play based learning and age appropriate activities
Communicate positively and professionally with parents and staff
Implement TLE’s award winning LEAP Curriculum
Maintain clean, organized, and joyful classroom spaces
Create warm, safe, and engaging environments that meet developmental needs for each age group
Assist with daily routines including diapering, feeding, toileting, meals, transitions, and learning activities
Engage children through play based learning and age appropriate activities
Communicate positively and professionally with parents and staff

California Requirements
Must meet California Community Care Licensing requirements including a minimum of 12 ECE or Child Development units. Verification required prior to hire
Infant and Toddler units preferred but not required
Pyramid Plus or additional certifications are a plus
