The Learning Experience is seeking a Program Coordinator who is knowledgeable about Preschool setting, administrative, and management.

As a preschool Program Coordinator, you will:

Works alongside the Center Director and Assistant Director to support the overall operations of the childcare center. You will be responsible for ensuring the daily operations runs as expected, curriculum remains up to date, providing teacher training, and also serving as a classroom teacher.

  • Displaying passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and employees.
  • Ensure that the physical center environment adheres to health and safety standard operating procedures, maintaining full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
  • Build and maintain a highly qualified staff by actively training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.
  • Guide our teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum, leveraging your passion for learning.
  • Take advantage of our engaging characters to drive the curriculum, creating a fun and enriching learning experience at TLE.

Job Qualifications:

  • Have two or more years of center leadership / management experience (highly preferred).
  • Possess the California state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
  • Meet California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22 qualifications for Child Care.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
  • Possess a valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification are highly preferred.
  • Possess a valid Mandated Reporter Certificate.
  • Possess an Infant/Toddler Development & Care units (required).
  • Has a current or pass CDSS Background check certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds to support children and various needs in classroom / center.
  • Ability to bend and squat to interact with children.
