Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Culture
- Lead by example with integrity, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Foster an environment of trust, collaboration, and inclusivity among staff and families.
- Build strong relationships with teachers, families, and the local community.
Compliance & Operations
- Maintain full compliance with all state and local childcare regulations.
- Uphold the highest standards for health, safety, and cleanliness.
- Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and budget performance.
- Analyze and report monthly financial results (P&L).
Staff Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor teachers to ensure program quality and consistency.
- Conduct classroom observations, provide feedback, and support professional growth.
- Encourage creativity and ownership among team members.
Curriculum & Family Engagement
- Support teachers in implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, encouraging a balance of structured learning and joyful play.
- Communicate effectively with families to ensure strong partnerships and child success.
- Conduct center tours and host community events to promote enrollment and awareness.
Qualifications
- 2 years of center leadership/management experience preferred (minimum 1 year required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field strongly preferred.
- State-specific Director or Administrative Credential required.
- Strong understanding of state licensing regulations.
- Previous experience working in daycare or preschool environments.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
