Responsibilities
- Support Lead Teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
- Assist with play-based learning experiences aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Support children during meals, transitions, toileting, and rest time
- Encourage positive behavior and social development
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Maintain compliance with Michigan childcare licensing standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred
- Early Childhood Education coursework or CDA a plus
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices preferred
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
