The Learning Experience – Dedham is seeking a reliable and organized Preschool Cook to support our early childhood center’s daily meal program. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a childcare, daycare, or school kitchen environment and is committed to providing healthy, safe meals to young children.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks according to center menus and dietary guidelines.
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures at all times.
- Manage allergy lists and communicate dietary needs clearly with teachers.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets state and local health regulations.
- Track inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and help manage kitchen records.
- Support classroom staff during mealtimes if needed and be a positive presence throughout the center.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.

Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience as a cook, kitchen aide, food prep assistant, school cook, or daycare cook preferred.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to children’s health and safety.
- Must meet all Massachusetts EEC and health department requirements.
