Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support children's development through play-based learning and structured activities.
- Encourage language development, social interaction, and independence.
- Maintain daily communication with families regarding their child's progress and experiences.
- Observe and document developmental milestones.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations, health standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership to provide exceptional care and education.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CDA, Associate's Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous experience working with toddlers or young children preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
- Must meet all state licensing requirements and pass required background checks.
