- Be at least 18 years of age and have strong references
- Complete a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting
- Possess GSRP lead teacher qualifications (or near completion of)
- Promote a nurturing environment for all children
- Be dedicated to a high-quality, educational environment
- Build relationships with families and colleagues, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly
- Show some level of proficiency with computers and technology
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions
- Lead the classroom in planning, documenting, implementing, and recording preschool learning experiences via the HighScope Curriculum
- Have availability 5 days per week
