About The Learning Experience
The Learning Experience – Oak Creek is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team of dedicated early childhood educators. Our center provides a structured yet joyful environment where children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful connections.
We are looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong classroom leadership—someone who is ready to help children thrive while contributing to a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a preschool classroom and create an engaging, developmentally appropriate learning environment.
- Implement The Learning Experience curriculum to support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Guide assistant teachers and model effective classroom practices.
- Build relationships with children and families through positive communication and daily updates.
- Ensure compliance with Wisconsin DCF licensing and center safety standards.
Qualifications
- Registry Level 7 or higher required.
- Director Qualified (DQ) preferred, but not required.
- Previous classroom experience in a licensed preschool or childcare program required.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and curriculum implementation.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and reliability required.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
