This role works closely with educators, families, and leadership to ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children. The Coordinator assists with program planning, staff support, family communication, and adherence to licensing and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram OperationsCoordinate daily program activities to ensure smooth and effective operationsSupport implementation of curriculum and developmentally appropriate practicesMonitor classroom environments to ensure safety, quality, and complianceStaff Support & CollaborationSupport onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing staff developmentServe as a point of contact for educators regarding program needs and concernsAssist leadership with observations, coaching, and performance supportFamily EngagementMaintain positive, professional communication with familiesSupport enrollment, orientation, and family partnership initiativesAddress parent questions or concerns in a timely and respectful mannerCompliance & DocumentationEnsure compliance with state licensing regulations and program policiesMaintain accurate records, attendance, and required documentationSupport inspections, audits, and quality improvement initiativesAdministrative SupportAssist with reporting, data tracking, and program evaluationsCollaborate with leadership on special projects and program enhancementsQualificationsRequired:Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience) EEC Director 1 & 2 certifiedExperience working in a licensed child care or early education settingKnowledge of child development, classroom management, and licensing regulationsStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsPreferred:Previous experience in a supervisory or coordination roleProfessional judgment, confidentiality, and reliability
