About The Learning Experience
The Learning Experience – Bushwick is seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to support our early childhood classrooms. Our center provides a joyful, play-based environment where children learn through exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
- Assist with implementing age-appropriate learning activities and daily routines.
- Help manage classroom tasks including meals, diapering/potty routines, rest time, and transitions.
- Build positive, supportive relationships with children and families.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that supports learning and independence.
- Follow all NYC childcare licensing and center safety guidelines.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and reliability.
- A passion for early childhood education and helping young children learn and grow.
- CPR/First Aid certification a plus (not required).
