Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and patient Direct Care Support Professional to provide quality care and support to individuals with developmental, behavioral, or physical needs. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and help create a safe and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and supervision to clients in home and community
- Assist with daily living activities such as grooming, hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
- Support clients in developing social, communication, and independent living skills
- Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and daily activities accurately
- Accompany clients to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities when needed
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for clients
- Communicate professionally with families, team members, and supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, direct support, healthcare, or behavioral support experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
