Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. As a Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in educating and caring for children, helping them develop essential skills while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive interactions among students.
- Provide individualized attention to children, catering to their unique needs and learning styles.
- Engage with parents and guardians through regular communication regarding their child's progress and development.
- Conduct assessments to monitor children's growth and development, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
Requirements
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and strategies for engaging young learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods suitable for diverse learning needs.
- Previous experience in infant care, babysitting, or nannying is advantageous.
- A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their educational development.
- Hours are 30-40 a week. The program operates from 9:00-2:30 MW, 9:00-4:00 TTR, and 9:00-1:59 on Fridays. Shifts begin no later than 8:30a.m to set up. Holiday breaks are paid.
