Key Responsibilities
RMF & Authorization Support
- Lead and manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes
- Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and authorization packages
- Support Authority to Operate (ATO) efforts and security reviews
- Conduct and validate security control assessments in accordance with DoD standards
- Evaluate system configurations and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies
- Review and prepare security artifacts for submission and approval
- Oversee vulnerability scanning, risk assessments, and remediation efforts
- Analyze findings and implement corrective actions
- Track vulnerabilities and ensure timely resolution
- Support continuous monitoring activities
- Analyze security logs and identify potential threats or anomalies
- Provide guidance on incident response and mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with system owners, ISSOs, engineers, and leadership
- Provide cybersecurity guidance and recommendations
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree 15 years experience OR 20 years relevant experience
- Strong experience with:
- RMF / ATO processes
- DoD cybersecurity frameworks
- Active Secret clearance
