About The Role
The Leading Hotels of the World is seeking a Membership Development Intern to support our global Membership team. Based in our New York City headquarters, you will contribute to the growth and development of our international portfolio of independent luxury hotels while gaining hands-on experience in the luxury hospitality industry. You’ll collaborate with a diverse, cross-functional team operating across regions and time zones - all dedicated to empowering independent hoteliers and inspiring travelers around the world.
This is a part-time (29 hours per week) position located in New York City from February – July 2026. We offer flexible workplace policies that allow for working remotely 3 days a week and require being in our NYC office 2 days a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays).
Compensation
$17.00 per hour

What You’ll Do
- Support with hotel membership admissions process
- Support with hotel membership development strategy and lead generation
- Support with marketing material for membership development purposes
- Responsible for prospective hotel research and market research
- Support with handling and tracking of all incoming hotel leads and management of qualified prospect pipeline
- First-hand exposure to the luxury hospitality sector
- Experience working with a global network of independent hoteliers
- Opportunities to collaborate with teams across Sales, Marketing, and Distribution
- Training in CRM systems and data-driven project management

- Fluency in written and spoken business English; additional languages are a plus

- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
- Analytical thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a global team
- Adaptable, dependable, and able to perform well under pressure
- Understanding of the hotel market, particularly the luxury segment, is a plus
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity, integrity, and professionalism
- Ability to represent/demonstrate LHW performance drivers
