About The Role:
Are you an accounting student eager to gain hands-on experience in a global environment? The Leading Hotels of the World is seeking an Accounting Intern to join our Finance & Accounting team for the summer. This role offers meaningful exposure to core accounting functions and the opportunity to contribute during an exciting period of digital transformation.
This is a part-time position (20–29 hours per week) based in New York City from June through August 2026. The role requires working in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with additional remote hours during the week.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to core accounting functions, support revenue operations, and build skills in both accounting and data analysis. Throughout the internship, you’ll work alongside CPA-certified professionals, interact with senior leadership, and take ownership of a project from start to finish. At the conclusion of the program, you’ll present your work and insights to management.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour

You will support the Revenue Management team in processing, tracking, and managing revenue generated from our member hotels. You’ll be assigned a portfolio of hotels and will help monitor revenue performance and support timely collections.

What You'll Do:
Revenue Management
You will support the Revenue Management team in processing, tracking, and managing revenue generated from our member hotels. You’ll be assigned a portfolio of hotels and will help monitor revenue performance and support timely collections.
Key Tasks:
- Assist with daily transaction reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support the month-end close process
- Updating customer payment plans and reviewing account statements
- Preparing journal entries and applying cash receipts
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Responding to customer inquiries related to billing and payments
Key Tasks:
- Assist with processing event participation fees in our global ERP system
- Support the development of analytics across 200 global events.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
