Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing beautiful outdoor spaces through expert landscaping and groundskeeping practices. Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
- Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and irrigation systems with precision and safety awareness
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and water conservation practices
- Identify plants, trees, shrubs, pests, and diseases to support healthy landscape development and pest management strategies
- Execute hardscape projects including the installation of pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor features
- Follow strict safety protocols during all activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Qualifications
- Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and groundskeeping techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, pest management (including pesticide application), and irrigation systems
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, lawn care equipment, and hardscape machinery safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments and equipment use
- Strong attention to detail with excellent physical stamina for manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid experience in tree care practices such as trimming or pruning is a plus
