We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our collaborative team of legal professionals. As an associate, you will work closely with our other talented attorneys and staff, providing support throughout the journey of a case file. Our aim is to provide a supportive atmosphere where we help you develop the skills you need to be an effective attorney. We do not take a one size fits all approach to any aspect of our firm. Bilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese) preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Draft, proofread, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, memoranda and correspondence.
- Communicate effectively with experts, clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Track litigation deadlines, hearings, and case milestones, maintaining proactive communication with the legal team.
- Models’ ethical behavior and execute job responsibilities in accordance with our core values, ethics, and information protection policies
- Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and other court appearances
- Work closely and respectfully with firm staff
- Negotiate settlements while maintaining a trial-ready approach.
- Develop innovative legal strategies to maximize policyholder recoveries
- Advanced skills in legal analysis, critical thinking, legal counseling, and problem solving; creativity in resolving unique and challenging business problems; good legal and business judgment
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team (legal and project), to lead, follow, and collaborate
Qualifications
- Team-oriented leader with an ability to mentor and guide staff
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association
- Prior First Party Property litigation preferred
- Preference will be given to candidates that speak both English and Spanish with expert fluency
- Ability to work in the Orlando office
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong interest in contract law, litigation and helping people
- Proficient computer, writing and oral advocacy skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience

Salary : $90,000 - $150,000
