Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bilingual Immigration & Criminal Defense Attorney (Spanish/English) at our Main Office in Freehold, NJ. The attorney will manage and represent clients in criminal and immigration cases, conduct legal research, prepare case strategies, draft legal documents, and advocate in court proceedings as needed. The role emphasizes collaborating with clients, preparing cases thoroughly, and ensuring effective communication in both English and Spanish.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Criminal Defense Law, Criminal Defense, and Criminal Law
- Strong legal Research skills
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in New Jersey
- Experience handling immigration cases is a plus
- Strong advocacy and courtroom presentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work independently and handle multiple cases
