About The Role
The Law Offices of James L. Arrasmith is expanding its medical malpractice practice and seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal to help lead the team.
This is a leadership role for a paralegal who understands medical malpractice litigation, medical records, discovery, expert coordination, deadlines, and case organization.
We are looking for someone who can move cases forward, support attorneys, organize complex records, train team members, and help build a strong medical malpractice workflow.
What You Will Do
Organize, review, and summarize medical records and billing records
Prepare medical chronologies, treatment summaries, damages summaries, and case summaries
Manage records requests, subpoenas, authorizations, and provider follow-up
Coordinate with medical experts and maintain expert-related materials
Draft discovery, correspondence, deposition notices, subpoenas, and litigation support documents
Track deadlines, hearings, depositions, expert disclosures, and trial preparation tasks
Help train and guide team members assigned to medical malpractice matters
What We Are Looking For
Prior medical malpractice paralegal experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of medical records, medical terminology, and litigation workflow
Experience preparing medical chronologies and case summaries
Strong discovery, records, subpoena, and deadline management experience
Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail
Ability to lead, train, and support other team members

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $125,000 – $185,000 per year.
