What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at The Law Offices of Galanopoulos and Galgan?
Overview:
Transactional real estate law firm in Elmhurst, Illinois seeks to hire an Associate Attorney. We handle residential and commercial real estate transactions as well as new construction closings. As an associate, you would have direct and frequent personal contact with realtors, clients and other attorneys.
Duties include:
- Contract review
- Contract modifications during the attorney review period
- Negotiation of inspection issues
- Title and survey review
- Attendance at closings which involves an understanding of the closing and financial documents
- Resolution of post-closing matters, including escrows held for unfinished issues or tax re-prorations
