Hardball-Law is a dedicated personal injury firm committed to fighting for the rights of injured clients and securing the compensation they deserve. We're growing our team and looking for an organized, detail-driven Legal Assistant/Paralegal to help manage our active caseload from intake through resolution.
We're seeking a Legal Assistant/Paralegal with 2 plus years of experience to support our attorneys with day-to-day case management on personal injury matters. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys client contact, and wants to build a long-term career in plaintiff-side PI litigation.
• Manage a caseload of personal injury files from intake through settlement, keeping cases moving and deadlines on track
• Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters to gather records, bills, and case updates
• Request, track, and organize medical records, bills, police reports, and other case documentation
• Prepare demand packages, settlement statements, and correspondence for attorney review
• Maintain case management software with accurate notes, status updates, and deadline tracking
• Draft routine legal correspondence and assist legal documents as needed
• Support attorneys with pre-litigation and litigation tasks as cases progress
What We're Looking For
• 2 plus years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, ideally in personal injury or civil litigation
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple case files simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach
• Comfort working with Neos case management software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with medical records and documentation
What We Offer
• Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits negotiable as well.
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
