This is a Court-Centered Role (Read This Carefully)
This is a full-time litigation workflow focused almost entirely on daily court appearances in Davidson County General Sessions Court

What You’ll Do
- Attend Davidson County General Sessions Court nearly every weekday (this is the core of the job)
- Prepare and manage your daily dockets from start to finish
- Handle bench trials and contested hearings confidently and professionally
- Speak directly with defendants/residents and opposing counsel to resolve cases when possible
- Communicate with clients and property staff to prepare for hearings and trial testimony
- Draft, submit, and circulate orders and agreed judgments
- Report results after court and ensure files are updated accurately and promptly
- Independently manage a high-volume caseload with strong organization and follow-through
What We’re Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Licensed to practice law in Tennessee (required)
- Courtroom confidence – you don’t freeze up, and you don’t dread hearings
- A calm, professional presence with the ability to handle pressure respectfully
- Strong communication skills (with clients, court staff, and opposing parties)
- Ability to stay organized, meet aggressive deadlines, and run your cases efficiently
- Someone who enjoys high-volume work and can take ownership of their docket
