Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with activities of daily living.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide support with mobility and safe transfers of residents.
- Monitor and document residents' health status, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- High school diploma or GED required.
