What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant / Wash Dry Fold Specialist position at The Laundry Space?
The Laundry Space is a brand new premium laundromat opening this November in Northwest OKC. We are building a clean, calm, welcoming place to do laundry, and we are looking for our first team members to help make it that way from day one.
This is a hybrid role. You will take care of our self service customers and our drop off wash, dry and fold service.
Pay: $14/hr
What you'll do:
- Welcome customers and help them with our machines and card payment system
- Wash, dry, fold and package drop off orders with care and attention to detail
- Keep the store and machines spotless throughout your shift
- Open or close the store, depending on your shift
- Spot and report any machine issues
You'll do well here if you:
- Enjoy helping people and stay friendly when it gets busy
- Take pride in neat, careful work (folding counts!)
- Are dependable and show up on time
- Can work on your own without supervision
- Can stand for a full shift and lift up to 25 lbs
No laundry experience needed. We will train you.
Schedule:
We are open 7 days a week, 7am to 10pm, and our schedule is still being built. We have both full time and part time hours available, with shifts anywhere from 7am to 10pm, weekdays and weekends.
