What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dry Cleaners - Front Counter Employee position at The Laundry Room?
We are a fast pace Dry Cleaners looking for a store front counter employee to serve as our customers’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their needs. Her/his responsibilities include receiving/delivering garments, coordinate with other employees to make sure we deliver on time and providing information about our services. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the retail/hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform all clothes check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage phone calls
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register customers collecting necessary information (like contact details)
- Provide information about our services
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our staff to ensure all garments are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate customers’ needs
- Other required tasks in order to provide a world-class service to our clients
Abilities
- Work experience as a Front Desk/Store Employee, Receptionist or similar role
- Experience with computers/software as a user
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Superior attendance
- Able to stand 5-8 hours, lift up to 20 lbs
Hours
M- Fri 2pm - 7pm
Every other Saturdays 9am - 5pm
Must have availability within the above hours and be flexible. Hours subject to change based on business needs.
Job Type: Part-time
