Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments on washers, dryers and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on machines, utilizing mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to restore functionality.
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Assist with the assembly, installation, and setup of new machines.
- Drive a van or similar vehicle to service appliances and facilities
- Communicate clearly with staff about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience.
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and follow-up requirements to ensure quality control.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC components, and equipment repair techniques.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues efficiently.
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions and build trust with clients.
- Valid driver’s license .
