Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to prevent damage and ensure quality results
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat by regularly sanitizing tables, machines, and other public spaces
- Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, laundry chemicals and restocking is needed
- Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with additional cleaning duties as needed to support overall standards
Skills
- Proven experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is desirable
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure machines are spotless and properly maintained
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks with precision
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
