We are seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all laundry is cleaned, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Answer customer inquiries and address concerns promptly.
- Assist customers with the use of laundry equipment.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Sort, wash, dry and fold laundry items
- Monitor laundry equipment for proper functioning.
- Clean and maintain laundry machines and dryers.
- Keep the laundromat clean and organized.
- Empty trash cans and recycle bins regularly.
- Clean restrooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues to management
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Previous experience in the customer service or hospitality industry is preferred but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
