About The Role
FINCA is seeking a Director, Digital Fundraising to build and scale the organization’s next-generation digital fundraising capability. This is a transformation-focused leadership role responsible for evolving FINCA’s digital fundraising efforts from campaign-based execution into a scalable digital growth engine. The Director will own FINCA’s annual digital fundraising revenue growth targets and performance KPIs and lead strategy across donor acquisition, conversion, retention, and digital engagement while helping architect a more direct, story-driven, and platform-oriented donor experience.
The ideal candidate combines digital fundraising expertise, growth marketing discipline, and product-oriented thinking. This person must be comfortable operating in a lean, evolving environment while driving measurable revenue growth, improving donor lifetime value, and modernizing how FINCA engages supporters digitally. This role will work cross-functionally across fundraising, communications, programs, technology, and leadership teams to align digital strategy with organizational growth priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Drive digital fundraising performance
- Own digital fundraising performance, including donor acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Develop and execute strategies across key digital channels, including paid media, email, text, and web
- Establish performance baselines and KPIs (conversion rates, donor retention, average gift, lifetime value)
- Lead the design and evolution of FINCA’s digital fundraising experience, including how donors discover, select, and support funding opportunities
- Define and implement a roadmap to introduce more direct, story-driven, and choice-based giving models
- Contribute to FINCA’s transition to a platform-based fundraising approach
- Apply a test-and-learn approach to improve the donor journey and platform performance
- Define and prioritize experiments (A/B testing, messaging, segmentation, user experience improvements)
- Partner with technology teams and vendors to implement enhancements and new functionality
- Partner with program, country, and communications teams to develop a consistent pipeline of compelling, fundable opportunities
- Translate client impact into clear, credible, and engaging digital content
- Establish standards for how opportunities are presented and maintained
- Design strategies to increase repeat giving and long-term donor relationships
- Develop segmentation and personalization approaches to improve donor experience
- Integrate storytelling, data, and digital touchpoints into a cohesive donor journey
- Work closely with the direct mail, mid-level and major gift, communications, and program teams to align digital efforts with organizational priorities
- Serve as a connector across teams to ensure digital fundraising efforts are integrated and efficient
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience leading digital fundraising, growth marketing, digital product, or customer acquisition initiatives with measurable revenue accountability.
- Demonstrated success scaling digital revenue, donor acquisition, subscription, or engagement programs through data-driven growth strategies.
- Strong experience managing digital acquisition channels including email, paid media, lifecycle marketing, web optimization, and CRM-driven engagement.
- Experience building or optimizing digital user journeys, fundraising platforms, or customer engagement ecosystems.
- Proven track record using analytics, experimentation, A/B testing, segmentation, and conversion optimization to drive measurable outcomes.
- Experience operating cross-functionally with technology, product, communications, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability in lean or evolving organizations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational alignment skills.
