Description:
The Union, located on the historic Eisenhower Park golf course, is seeking passionate, professional, fun-loving servers to join our growing team!
We are seeking a hard-working and experienced server. In order to be successful in this role, candidates must have a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
- Providing attentive service to diners, like refiling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
- Performing cleaning duties such as at the serving station, around the kitchen and in the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
Requirements: - Experience in fine dining establishment (1-2 years preferred)
- Excellent customer service, including patience and a friendly demeanor - Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu details
- Exceptional organization and time management - Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures - Ability to lift and carry items up to 20Ibs and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period
- Great active listening - Willing to work flexible work schedules that include nights and weekends
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
